Zebras actually belong to the family of horses. Their habitats are grasslands, arid lands and the savannahs. Their food is mainly grass but they also consume small leaves,herbs,buds and twigs. A Zebra’s black and white stripes are meant to help camouflage the animals in its terrain. The stripes are narrow at the face and neck and broadened across the chest area. It has a long hairy tail. Each Zebra has a unique stripe pattern. There are different types of Zebra-the common Zebra and the Grevy’s Zebra being the most well known. It is about 8-feet long and weighs about 275Kg! Two races of the common zebra exist and they vary slightly in their appearance and habitat. In southern Kenya the common zebras have a faint dark stripe in the centre of each white stripe while those in the north have pure white stripes. The bright stripes are not as effective camouflage as the dull ones! The gravy’s zebra is rarer than the common zebra and can be found only in the northern part of Kenya or in Uganda. It can be recognized by its narrower stripes and almost gray color also has a hairy mane across the neck and back. It is a bigger species and weighs about 350kg!!!!

Heath Ledger, who played the joker in Batman did not live to see his portrayal feted. An Australian by birth, this actor was born on April 4th 1979 in Perth.Ledger loved playing chess and he won western Australia’s junior chess championship at the age of 10.He sat for his graduation exams at the age of 16 and left school to pursue an acting career. He is known for his role in ‘The Patriot’,’ The Four Feathers’, ‘A Knight’s Tales’ and won an award for his role in The Patriot. He also won awards his role in ‘Broke back Mountain’. More than a star Heath Ledger was on his way to becoming an acclaimed actor for his role as the Joker, Ledger slipped into the character of the role by living in a hotel alone and recording in a diary, the way the Joker would behave. For him ,the Joker was a living, breathing character. The actor was having trouble sleeping and was taking quite a few medications for this. He died of what was later termed as “abuse of prescription medications”, on Jan 22 2008.It was a sudden end to a very talented actor and the Joker is seen as one of his best performances.
Airways Apologizes
9 Muslim people were refused to continue their travel in the Air Tran Airways from midway as one of them were alleged of discussing about issues that were a threat to security of fellow travellers. One among the Muslim family was discussing about the safest place in the plane to sit. This conversation was misunderstood by the neighbor travellers and was escalated to the pilot. Later those Muslim members were kicked off from the plane in the midway and were interrogated by the FBI agents for the conversation they had in the plane. As a result of the FBI interview, they were proved of no fault. It was just a misunderstanding which had caused a serious issue this way.
Though the Airways justify that they have acted like this to ensure complete security to their customers, it’s a bitter fact that these Muslim people were racially discriminated from the other travellers. Because they had a traditional look with beards and religious dresses, they were forced to undergo the unnecessary interview by the FBI agents. I feel this act of Air Tran is definitely condemnable. The Air Tran now apologizes for the inconvenience caused by them to the Muslim family. Though the airways are now ready to compensate for their travel expenses, the Muslim family is not ready to accept the explanation. Its high time that the Airways should review its policies and stop causing irrelevant disputes in the name of security. A mountain was made out of the mole!!
Drink and Drive Causes
I was walking around in a BigBazar store making shopping, when I saw a Cashier talking to a boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The Cashier said, ‘I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll. Then the little boy turned to me and asked: ”aunty, are you sure I don’t have enough money?”
I counted his cash and replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy the doll, my dear.” The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. ‘It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much . I wanted to Gift her for her BIRTHDAY. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.’ His eyes were so sad while saying this. ‘My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.” My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: ‘I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.’ Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me ‘I want mommy to take my picture with her so my sister won’t forget me.’ ‘I love my mommy and I wish she doesn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.’ Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ‘Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?” ‘OK’ he said, ‘I hope I do have enough.’ I added some of my money to his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: ‘Thank you God for giving me enough money!’ Then he looked at me and added, ‘I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!” ‘I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. My mommy loves white roses.’
I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.. I couldn’t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

This can cause a series of inflammatory reactions that lead to fat and cholesterol build-up in the coronary arteries and ultimately to a heart attack. But scientists know that during laughter, hormones are released in the body which relax the mind and body. There is decrease in hormones which produce stress hormones adrenaline and steroids. There is also release of hormones dopamine and serotonin, which provides us with a feeling of well-being.

Ernesto Guevara de la Serna popularly known as Che Guevara, was born on June 14, 1928 in Argentina.As a young medical student ,Guevara and his friend Alberto Grenado travelled latin america and witnessed proverty.During the trip he experiences that the region ingrained with economic inequalities due to captalism,neocolonialism and imperialism.From these experience,he started his world revolution.

Three years later he was appointed as Minister of Industry. In 1966, with his small guerrilla force he tried to incite the people of Bolivia to rebel against government. He was later captured and killed by the Bolivian army in 1967.

How to make Banana halwa recipe
Ingredients:
5 ripe bananas
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cardamom
3 tsp ghee
Cashews for garnishing
Method:
Mash the bananas using a fork or knife. It does not matter if there are small amounts of banana lumps. This will get cooked eventually.
Now take a heavy bottom pan. Heat it to medium and add little ghee and add the mashed bananas to this heated pan. At this stage, stir the mixture at regular intervals making sure that it does not get burnt at the bottom.
After about 15 minutes or so add the sugar and little ghee. Continue stirring it till it turns dark brown and it starts leaving the bottom of the pan.
After about 35 minutes or so it forms a combined mass with rich brown color.
Reduce the flame and add the cardamom powder. Be careful as the mixture sticks to the bottom.
· Grease a plate with little oil and keep aside. Pour the mixture into this plate, level it and allow it to cool. When its almost cool cut into desired shapes.
